(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) State budget cuts are forcing a St. Joseph organization to cut off one if its services.

The Family Guidance Center announced Thursday it will close addiction treatment and detoxification services by July 9.
President and CEO Garry Hammond said the move had to be made after Governor Nixon announced budget cuts earlier this week.
Hammond said two line item vetoes made by Nixon would cut $950,000 in expected revenue for these services.
Family Guidance's outpatient addiction services are not expected to be affected.
