Highway Patrol Collects More Than 250 Units of Blood During Memorial Drive

(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) Results are in from a blood drive in honor of a Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper killed in the line of duty.
  
The patrol says 270 Units were collected across the state earlier this month.
  
Here in St. Joseph, Troop H collected 27 units.
  
Trooper Michael Webster was hit by a drunk driver during a traffic stop in 1993.
  
The patrol has held the blood drive for 20 years to help save lives and raise awareness of the dangers of drunk driving.
