More than a dozen vendors brought their veggies and freshest fruits to this farmer's market.
Campus Dining put the event together for all Northwest students, employees and area residents.
Farmer's markets are becoming more common for universities, and Northwest felt it was time to inform students on the different products located in their backyard.
"We felt that there was a need to increase the awareness of locally grown food and products on campus, and in the community, because there's so much goodness behind it. We wanted everyone to know that, to show that we're embracing it in here at campus dining and at Northwest," said Ashley Cadenhead.
Campus Dining hopes to continue this event in the future.
