Anita L. (Richey) Fuller, 69, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away July 14, 2014 at a nursing facility after a long battle with cancer.
She was born June 11, 1945 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Paris and Louise (Broderick) Richey. She graduated from Bishop Miege High School in Overland Park, Kansas in 1963.
In 1966 Anita married Kenneth Spencer Fuller. She worked in the insurance field for more than thirty years. She was a member of the Longview Christian Church of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Anita was very outgoing and had many friends. She dearly loved her grandchildren and was very proud of her nieces and nephews for whom, she had a special place in her heart. She loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Kenneth Fuller II who died May 18, 2005.
Survivors: daughter, Kristin Howard (Wade) of Blue Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Reese and Luke Howard; sisters, Dee Sigrist of St. Joseph, Missouri and Sarah Hayes of Kansas City, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; very special cousins, Michael and Gail Phipps of Belton, Missouri and Nancy and Max Reese of Dallas, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Cindy Fuller of Kansas City, Missouri; sister-in-law, Donna Fuller of Memphis, Tennessee; and loving friends, Martha Ryberg and Leslie Cochran of Lee’s Summit.
Graveside Services and Inurnment: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Mount Olivet Cemetery. Care provided by Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
