Carl S. Gee, 91, Savannah, Missouri died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at a local healthcare facility.
He was born September 20, 1922 to Walter Christopher and Marguerite (Stanton) Gee in Savannah, Missouri.
He married Virginia Hoffelmeyer on June 12, 1946. She preceded him in death on April 28, 2012.
Carl taught classes to veterans when they returned from World War II. He was a director of Federal Land Bank in St. Joseph for many years and was the last of three generations of twin boys. He was a member of Savannah Masonic Blue Lodge #71.
During his many years of farming he was ahead of his time in agricultural innovations and was the fourth generation to farm in Andrew, County.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Caryl Gee.
Survivors: son, Roy Gee (Kathleen), Savannah, Missouri; two grandsons, Timothy Gee (Teri) and Martin Gee (Lacy); three great-granddaughters, Hailey, Gabrielle and Miranda; and one great-grandson, Garrett.
Services: 3:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
