Dr. John Corzine, 64, St. Joseph, Missouri died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Heartland Regional Medical Center from complications due to a car accident in Honduras in June 2009.
He was born December 4, 1949 to Emil and Jacquelyn (Haskell) Corzine in Kansas City, Missouri.
He married Diana Marie Hugi in December 1969. She survives of the home.
Dr. Corzine attended medical school in Kansas City, and completed a residency in Anesthesiology and practiced from 1979-2009. He served in the United States Health service at the appointment of Bob Dole.
He was a long time member of the Buchanan County Medical Society and the Missouri State Medical Association and was a Fellow in the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists. His hobbies were cooking and painting.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Marianne Klancke.
Additional Survivors: son, Jason Corzine, Mission, Kansas; sister, Carolyn Cunningham (Hollis); nephew, Troy Cunningham; niece, Tracy Maire (Jim) all of Paola, Kansas; brother-in-law, Kirk Klancke, Frasier, Colorado; and nieces, Carridy Koski and Krista Klancke, Denver, Colorado.
Memorial Services: 3:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Whispering Pines Cremation Garden at St. Joseph Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
