Dustin L. Hunt, 43, St. Joseph, Missouri died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his home.
He was born November 8, 1970 to William and Ila Sue (Amos) Hunt in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He was a singer / songwriter and traveled the country with his father as the singing duo “Pair of Aces”. While traveling on his own he performed at The Grand Ole Opry and was a member of the Kansas Country Music Hall of Fame. His performance reflected his love of traditional country music, especially when singing Hank Williams songs with his father. He was a very gifted musician and even looked the part having appeared on National TV and winning a Hank Williams look – alike contest.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors: mother, Sue Hunt; brothers, Ken Nold and Sheldon Nold; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Care provided by Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
