She was born September 30, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri daughter of Sarah & Floyd Shreve.
She married Robert Hogan on May 20, 1961 and they shared 53 together.
She graduated from Benton high school in 1956. She worked at 1st Stockyards Bank for several years and was a Homemaker. She was a former member the King Hill United Methodist Church and now a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. Elizabeth was active in the community as a member of the South St. Joseph Progressive Association, one the original founding members of the South Side Fall Festival and served with her husband Bob as Grandmarshalls of the annual parade, she was also involved in the PTA at Lake Contrary School.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ben, George and Dave Shreve, and a sister, Margaret Gach.
She is survived by husband, Robert Hogan of the home, daughter, Sheryl Davis and husband Kenneth of Semmes, AL, grandson, Seth Davis and granddaughter Krystal Davis, a sister, Lola Miller and husband Covel of Savannah.
A memorial service will be held in June, 2014. A register book is available at the Rupp Funeral Home for signature. She will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
