Harriet “Mickey” Reynolds, 76, passed away March 19, 2014, at Liberty Hospital, in Liberty, MO.

A visitation will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City; followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.

The family suggests contributions be given to: Platte Senior Center—11724 N.W. Plaza Circle #700—K.C., MO 64153.

Mickey was born September 1, 1937 in Kansas City, MO to Walter Gene and Alice Juanita (Sciortino) Elledge.

She was raised in the Kansas City area, later residing for a short time in Los Angeles, CA; later returning to the Kansas City area, where she remained until her later years, then she moved to Platte City to be closer to her children. Mickey was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed 35 years as a waitress for the Golden Ox Restaurant in Kansas City. Mickey loved her family, and was especially fond of her grandchildren, and her great grand babies were the love of her life. In later years, she enjoyed the various activities at the Platte Senior Center, especially Wii bowling.

Mickey was preceded in death by; her parents; her brother Walter Gene Elledge; and her sister Sharon House.

She is survived by: her son Michael Reynolds, and wife Jodi; her daughter Michelle Osborne and husband Cliff, all of Platte City; her brother Jesse Sciortino of Blue Springs, MO; her grandchildren Tony Martin, Janie Younger, Annie Bly, Whitney Gordon, and Cortney Rudder; her great grandchildren Hailey, Atreyu, Brianna, Khyman, Gavin, and Cali; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
