He was born October 29, 1947 in Atchison, Kansas son of Josephine & John Reynolds.
He married Karen Reynolds on November 11, 1972 and they have shared 41 years together.
He graduated from DeKalb High School. He worked at Clark lift, Oram, Weise as a fork lift mechanic. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing pool, Nascar racing, and the TV show Jeopardy.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include wife, Karen of the home, two sons, Joseph (Morgan) Reynolds and Brian Reynolds of St. Joseph, a daughter, Courtney Reynolds of St. Joseph, MO, five, grandchildren, a niece, and four, nephew, and a sister, Johnaphine (Alfred) Fenton of Rushville, MO.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the Rupp Funeral Home, the inurnment will follow the service at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, with Military Honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force. He has been cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
