Lois J. Garreth, 81, Easton, Missouri died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her home.
She was born September 13, 1932 to Wayne “Munk” and Vona (Beattie) Griggs in Barnard, Missouri.
Lois married Merle M. Garreth on November 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1996 after forty-five years of marriage. She then married George R. Stuber on August 19, 2000 and he survives of the home.
She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ and was a farm wife who enjoyed dancing, gardening and watching and feeding her birds in the backyard. She was a very loving and generous person who was devoted and loved her family very much.
She was also preceded in death by her father; and brother, Gabe Griggs.
Additional Survivors: son, Dennis Garreth (Susan Rich) and her sons, Joshua Felling (Amber) and Adam Felling; mother, Vona Griggs; grandson, Chad Garreth; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Jean Garreth and her daughter Anita Simon (Mike); children, Joyce Windmeyer (Glenn) and Mike Stuber (Ann); grandchildren, Emily Farrow (Jeremy), Timothy Windmeyer (Lynn), Elizabeth Green (Colten), Ben Stuber (Tanya), Melissa Shultz (Kelly), Alison Wohluhuter (Jon); several great-grandchildren; and a beloved dog, Annabelle.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
