Louise J. Muse, 84, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her daughter’s home.
Louise was born June 28, 1929 to Don and Thelma (Lester) Randall in St. Joseph, where she graduated from Benton High School.
She married George Muse in 1947, he preceded her in death in 1998. Along with her spouse, she owned and operated Big Moose in Elwood, Kansas and Ace Pawn in St. Joseph.
She was a member of Church of God 7th Day.
She was also preceded in death by daughter, Terry Muse; parents; two brothers and a granddaughter.
Survivors include daughter, Judy (Jerrie) Smith; son, Rick Muse; granddaughter, Kelly (J.D.) Hay, all of St. Joseph; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Margaret Bringus, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Services 10 am, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Visitation will begin after 12 noon, Tuesday at our Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday evening. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Hands of Hope Hospice.
