Mary Ann Taylor, 98, St. Joseph, Missouri died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 9, 1915 to John and Lulu (Blaylock) Sherrill in Worth, Missouri.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Rebekah’s in Agency and she proudly served at a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II.
Mrs. Taylor worked at Noma Lights and retired from Methodist Hospital after eighteen years of service in the Dietary Department.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, William Taylor; parents’ sisters, Virginia Norton and Nellie Todd; and brother, Marvin and John Sherrill.
Survivors: nephews, Larry Todd (Rose), Steven Sherrill and Terry Sherrill; and a niece Charlene.
Services: 5:00 P.M. Saturday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Ashland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
