Mary Elizabeth Livick-Gilmore-Sowards 49, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday April 14, 2014 at a Saint Joseph, Missouri Hospital.

She was born January 19, 1965 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri daughter of Beverly & David Livick.

She married Dean Edwards on June 12, 2010, and he survives of the home.

She worked at Lowes Home Improvement as a cashier. Mary loved to sing, read poetry, and was an arts & crafts collector, she also enjoyed going to flee markets, and computer games like Farmville.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Thomas Livick.

She is survived by husband, Dean Edwards of Elwood, KS, two sons, Nate Gilmore and companion Megan Sommer of Cameron, MO, Jeremy Gilmore and wife Stephanie of Manhatten, KS, and a daughter Kyra Gilmore-Wells of Elwood, KS, six grandchildren: Savannah, Conner, Brianna, Kaylee, Ashlynn, and Scotlyn, a brother, Larry Livick of Lake Viking, MO, four sisters, Deborah Frogge of Maryville, MO, Bonnie Jennings, Tammie Bruntmyer both of St. Joseph, MO, and Brenda (Michael) Vollentine of Branson, MO.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home with a memorial service to be at 3:00 pm. She has been cremated under the care of the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.

Memorials are requested to the Mary E Sowards memorial fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
