Maxine M. Davison, 92, Fillmore, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home.

She was born February 3, 1922 in Andrew County Missouri, to Charles Brewer and Mary (Schieb) Brewer.

Maxine was a cook at the Hughes Cafe in Fillmore and worked as a cook at LaVerna Village for many years until her retirement.

Maxine enjoyed gardening, canning, having Sunday dinners with her family, sitting on the front porch, and visiting with her neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Davison in 1971, her parents, two sisters; Thelma Chandler, Evelyn Atkins and one grandson; Shane Davison.

Survivors include two sons; Larry (Hilda) Davison Fillmore, Keith (Diane) Davison Bolckow, two daughters; Connie Davison and Carolyn Davison both of Savannah. Eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel followed by a graveside service and interment at Fillmore Cemetery.
