Ola O. June, 95, Savannah, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at a local nursing home.

Ola was born January 24, 1919 in Fillmore, Missouri to Floyd and Lillian (Hilton) Sybert. She married Donald June on March 11, 1939, he preceded her in death in May 2003.

Ola was a proud farm wife and loved cooking, gardening, and fishing. She also enjoyed embroidering, sewing, playing cards and attending her kids and grandkids events. Ola was happiest when she was with her family. She was a Baptist.

Ola was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Opal Burkert, Oma Miller, Ora Rhoads, Mary Alsup, Nancy Fitzpatrick; brothers, Manely, Olen and Oba Sybert.

Survivors include children, Ruth (Manny) VanSchoiack, Sandy Wilson, Nila (Don) Wageman; grandchildren, Kelly (John) Uehlin, Doug VanSchoiack, Travis (Jane) VanSchoiack, Jodi (Tim) Mazur, Gara (Sarah) Howard, Tiffany (Joe) Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Kasey and Kylee Uehlin, Kyler VanSchoiack, Blake Burson, Kody and Kaden Mazur, Berkley and Brinley Ferguson; sister-in-law, Margaret June; and many, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation 12:30 to 2:30 pm, Saturday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel, Savannah, Missouri. Private graveside services for immediate family to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.
