Randall “Randy” Ray Barnes, 66, passed away on February 20, 2014 at his home.

Randy was born on May 1, 1947 in Maryville, Missouri to Robert and Lillian (Needham) Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe Barnes.

Randy was a graduate of Trenton High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy “Sea Bee”. He was a member of the Cameron Elks Lodge #2615, American Legion and VFW, St. Joseph, MO. Randy was an appliance salesman and had worked for Sears and Montgomery Wards.

Survivors: 2 sons, Randy Barnes, Cameron and Shane (Angie) Barnes, Wathena, KS; daughter, Natalie (Tom) Worland, Cameron; 2 brothers, Bob (Chris) Barnes, Eagle Rock, MO and Dennis (Jodi) Barnes, Monett, MO; sister, Babette (Kent) Baker, Cedar Rapids, IA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; former wife, Debby Griffin, Cameron, MO.

Memorial Services: 6:15 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron followed by an Elk’s Memorial Service. Visitation: 6:00-8:00PM, following the service. Inurnment will be at a later date in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
