He was born in Helena, MO on November 6, 1926 to Albert & Goldie (Krause) Bleich. On November 18, 1950 he married Marjorie Fite in St. Joseph and she survives of the home.
Ray was a member of the Helena Methodist Church and a graduate of Helena High School. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a dairy farmer, retiring from Dairy Farmers of America, as a fieldman.
Ray was a loving husband, father, and grand-father. He and Marjorie enjoyed collecting antiques and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; three daughters, Dana Hendrix of Blue Springs, MO, Kristy & Hal James of Columbia, MO, and Kim Clark of St. Joseph, MO; four grandsons, Jason Hendrix, Whitney Clark, Mitchell James, and Kendall Clark; three grand-daughters, Jamie (David) Smith, Elizabeth James, and Lindsey (Damon) Hughes; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Hendrix, Austin Hendrix, Hannah Hendrix, Peyton Smith, Aiden Smith, Gavin Smith, Phoenix Hughes, and Jaxon Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents.
