Robin Dale White, St. Joseph, MO

Robin Dale White of St. Joseph, MO passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the age of 60 after a brief battle with cancer.

Robin was born December 19, 1953 to William and Ruby (Ashcraft) White in Atchison, KS.

Robin was a graduate of Effingham High School, class of 1972 where he was on the wrestling and football teams.  Robin then attained a job with Affiliated Foods where he worked for 25 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #460.

Robin met a wonderful woman named Cindy Hageman and on April 8, 1978, married her.  Robin and Cindy had two children, Hubel and Ian.      Robin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wathena, KS. Whether target shooting or fishing, gardening or keeping his lawn maintained, Robin enjoyed the outdoors.  He was also a fan of motor sports with his favorite being NHRA drag racing.  Robin greatly enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques.

Robin was preceded in death by his parents.

He was survived by his wife and children, Cindy, Hubel and Ian of St. Joseph, two grandchildren, Alexis and Claire, also of St. Joseph; two sisters, Joy Crabill and Ann Douglas; his step-mother Lucy White; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory in St. Joseph, MO from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.  The funeral will also be at Meierhoffer the following day at 3:00 p.m.  Flowers are appreciated and the family asks that any monetary donations be given to the Hands of Hope Hospice of St. Joseph, MO.
