Wilma B. Bucher, 79, Savannah, Missouri died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at her home.
She was born December 15, 1934 to Floyd and Alice (Pasley) Key in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She married John Joseph Bucher on July 12, 1952. He survives of the home.
Wilma was a graduate of Lafayette High School and worked at Whitaker Cable Company as a final inspector for twenty-one years.
Mrs. Bucher was a loving grandmother and family was her life. She enjoyed supporting her great-grandchildren in their activities. She also loved camping, fishing, watching horses and going to the casinos. Wilma was a motorcycle grandmother and was a member of the Chillicothe Chapter Freedom of the Road Riders.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ailene and Irene; and brothers, Bob and David.
Additional Survivors: sons, John Michael Bucher (Reta), Savannah, Missouri and Floyd Daniel Bucher (Sally), St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Michelle Layton, Weston, Missouri, Corbett Bucher, St. Joseph, Missouri, John Bucher (Samantha), Savannah, Missouri, Damien Bucher (Tiffany), St. Joseph, Missouri and LeeAnna Dudley (Aaron), St. Joseph, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Schmidt (Charles), St. Joseph, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
