1 can artichokes, chopped
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 chopped onion (red adds color)
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 cup cream
1 T. butter
Cornstarch if you want it a bit thicker.
salt and pepper to taste.
Melt butter, add onion and cook for a few minutes.
Add wine, cook until mostly gone.
Add cream and chicken stock.
Add artichokes and blend until smooth.
Thicken if desired.
