Pasta Con Pomodoro Crudo

3-4 garlic cloves
6-7 fresh tomatoes (other tomatoes are O.K., like Cherry or Roma)
big handful of fresh basil
salt & pepper to taste
5-6 T. olive oil, extra virgin
1 lb. bowtie pasta or any other preference
cheese (Romano or Parmigiano)

Put cubed tomatoes in a bowl. Add garlic (whole or minced), olive oil, fresh basil and season with salt and pepper. Let stand for one-half hour. Meanwhile, cook pasta aldente. When ready, drain and toss together with mixture in the bowl. Plate and top off with cheese and serve.
