(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Drivers in north and south St. Joseph will have a pair of road closures to deal with early this week.

City crews will close Cook Road between 169 Highway and North 37th Street Monday. Crews will be working to repair potholes. Turning lanes on 169 will also be closed. Work is expected to begin at 9 a.m. and be complete by 2 p.m.

The city says work to Cook Road will be ongoing over the next several months due to construction of Oak Grove Elementary School.

Stockyards Expressway will be closed between Cedar Street and Florence Road on Tuesday. Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad will be replacing a crossing near Nor-Am Cold Storage. Weather permitting, the closure will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday.
