(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.)  Water gardens may not be the easiest thing to build, but some locals got to show off their hard work over the weekend.

The Annual Water Garden Society Pond Tour took place in St. Joseph Sunday afternoon.
Visitors traveled to 13 different locations to see some peoples unique take on yard work.  Participants learned about pond structure and maintenance along the way.  And visitors got to see the beautiful end result.

"The community gets a chance to see what other people are doing in their yards.  We've had more fun showing our properties than anybody else possibly could," said Ken Arn.

Arn also says that you don't need to have a pond to be a participant and if you would like to join the club, you can call the group directly.  He says he would like to see more participants and supporters in the years to come.
