Lafayette High School plans to celebrate the legacy of Scott Marriott on September 9 at their home game vs. Bishop LeBlond.
(St. Joseph, Mo.) A St. Joseph High School is honoring a former head football coach with a field dedication in his memory.

Lafayette High School plans to celebrate the life and legacy of Scott Marriott on September 9 at their home game vs. Bishop LeBlond.

Before the game, the field at Alumni Stadium will be named after Marriott.

Marriott passed away in late 2010. He spent 13 years as head coach for Lafayette and 9 years activities coordinator. He retired in 1998.
