Williams Resigns as Mid-Buchanan Football Coach

The Dragons won five games in Williams' two seasons in Faucett.

(FAUCETT, Mo.) After leading the Dragons for the past two seasons, Randy Williams decided it's time to pursue other endeavors.

Williams resigned his position as Mid-Buchanan head football coach for another opportunity in the corporate world, he said. He compiled just five wins in his two season with the Dragons.

He also served as an assistant coach at Lawson from 1991-1992 and spent a stint at Winona State University. He then took a hiatus until returning to the sideline at Faucett in 2010.

"I couldn't be more grateful to Russell Gray and the administration for giving me the opportunity," Williams said. "Whoever takes over is going to get a great group of kids.
