Missouri Star Green-Beckham Suspended Indefinitely

Gary Pinkel has suspended receiver Dorial Green-Beckham indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules.
(COLUMBIA, Mo.) Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has been suspended indefinitely from the team for an unidentified violation of team rules, according to a release on Monday afternoon.

Green-Beckham, the Tigers' leading pass catcher in 2013, will not be able to take part in an practice or team activity.

The junior has not been arrested, according to the Columbia Police Department, but is part of an ongoing investigation.

"It's unfortunate, but it's the right thing to do for our football program, for the athletic department, and also for Dorial," head coach Gary Pinkel said in a statement. "We have high standards related to the expectations that come along with being a Missouri Tiger, and Dorial has not met those recently."

The Springfield, Mo. native was arrested in October 2012 for reportedly smoking marijuana in a campus parking lot near Memorial Stadium. He and three other players pleaded guilty to second\-degree trespassing. He was arrested again in Jan. 11 during a traffic stop in Springfield on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

No charges have been filed in the latest arrest.

Green-Beckham caught 59 passes for 883 yards and 12 touchdowns last season as the Tigers won the SEC East Championship and defeated Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl.
