Omaha Edges St. Joe in North Division Battle

The Mustangs three-game win streak ended Tuesday night.
(OMAHA, Neb.) The Mustangs brief, three-game win streak ended Tuesday night as Omaha topped St. Joe 4-2 for just its seventh win of the season.

St. Joseph (13-5) is now 2-2 on its current road trip that wraps up Wednesday evening with another contest against Omaha.

Miles Gully pitched into the sixth inning for the first time this summer, but suffered his first loss allowing four runs on five hits and three walks.

The Mustangs offense didn't give their starter much to work with -- Hayden Steele drove in a run on a second inning double, and Lucas Powers scored on an error in the eighth.

St. Joe won't return to Phil Welch Stadium until Thursday when they begin a four-game home stand.
