Players, along with head coach Jerry Partridge, kicked off the "Paint it Gold Blitz" in Cameron Wednesday. The campaign allows students athletes to not only promote their upcoming season but gives them a chance to get out in the community.
"Events like this, hopefully, help generate some excitement; because we're always building our fan base, you know we're always looking for fans, always building our fan base, always look for perspective students. And I think anytime we can get out in the community and promote Missouri Western, the better off I think we are," associate athletic director Brett Esely said.
The campaign will continue this weekend when students pass out schedules as part of a service day project.
