Hill Waived by Buccaneers

Missouri Western's all-time leading rusher spent his rookie season in the NFL with three teams.
(TAMPA BAY, Fla.) Former Missouri Western running back Michael Hill has been waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Hill just completed his rookie season in the NFL, spending the entire preseason with San Diego before being cut prior to Week 1.  He was quickly signed to Green Bay's practiced squad and was promoted to the active roster in light of injuries.

The Buccaneers signed Hill off the practice squad in mid-November. He rushed nine times for 23 yards through six games in Tampa.

Hill was arrested in St. Joseph last month on two disorderly conduct charges, but neither were filed.

The Central High School graduate is the all-time leading rusher at Missouri Western and finished his college career as an All-American and Harlon Hill trophy finalist.
