Missouri Western Adds Video Board to Indoor Complex

Missouri Western's new video board on the GISC will replace the ad board outside the Looney Complex.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The Griffon Indoor Sports Complex received a new addition Thursday afternoon.

An 18' x 24' video board was mounted on the west side of the complex. The monitor will serve as a replacement for the old advertisement board outside of the Looney Complex. It will run campus wide announcements and show Missouri Western athletics videos.

Kurt McGuffin, the school's director of athletics, says this is the first of many changes coming that will improve the campus.

"As momentum is with us, we think we're going to get their pretty quick."

Among the major renovations that Missouri Western will be undertaking, Spratt Stadium is high on the list.

"We're gearing up for capital campaign and the stadium is a big part of it as well as Potter Hall. We're in need of some sprucing up, and I think it's real important."
