2 in Custody after Police Recover Drugs, Guns, Cash

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Two men face drug charges after police seize nearly 100 pounds of marijuana and other drugs from a St. Joseph home.

Dakota E. Guess, 22, and Jeremy J. Pullen, 19, are in custody after officers with St. Joseph Police Department's Street Crimes Unit recovered 96 pounds of marijuana, 25 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of Hashish, a 12 gauge shotgun and a .22 cal. pistol on Tuesday.

Among the weapons and drugs, authorities also found $2,600 cash at the home in the 1100 block of South 17th Street.

According to court documents, Pullen admitted to selling marijuana for at least the last six months.

The men are charged with felony drug trafficking.

Both men are in custody in the Buchanan County Jail.

Bond is set at $35,000 for Guess, and $100,000 for Pullen.

A court date is set for Friday.
