$20,000 Meth Deal Sends Kansas Man to Prison

(WICHITA, Ks.) A Wichita, Kansas man is heading to prison for 10 years for selling an undercover police officer a pound of methamphetamine for $20,000.

Patrick Hains, 39, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Hains was arrested in January after a Wichita police officer working undercover paid him $20,000 cash for a pound of methamphetamine.
