$500 Million Grant to Help Expand Head Start Programs

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The Administration of Children and Families announced Thursday the availability of $500 million for the purpose of expanding Early Head Start Partnerships.

The funding will allow Early Head Start programs to partner with local child care facilities to provide services to eligible infants and toddlers.

Community Action Partnership of Greater St. Joseph is seeking all eligible partners from Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton and DeKalb counties that are licensed child care providers and are interested in the Early Head Start Partnership opportunity.

Interested child care providers are invited to attend an informational meeting on Friday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Way of Greater St. Joseph offices at 118 S. 5th Street.
