(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The American College of Technology will soon be changing names as part of several changes the college is making.

The school has been approved for University status and will become American Business and Technology University starting April 2nd.

The school is also moving locations from the Belt Highway to the old Wyeth mansion.

The change is part of a restructuring of the school to appeal to more students.

"There are options, affordable options, that allow somebody to go back and get their master's degree or finish a degree they started," Chief Operating Officer Lute Atieh said. "That's really how I think we will be able to serve the local community."

The school is now offering graduate programs as part of their University designation.

They plan on moving buildings sometime in March and will have new computer labs and resources for students.
