(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Someone swiped an ATM from the St. Joseph License Office overnight.

Now, police hope surveillance video will help crack the case.

According to Capt. Jeff Wilson, the culprit or culprits smashed the front door at the License Office 2319 North Belt Highway sometime after 3 a.m.

An alarm went off, prompting a response from officers. Investigators believe there was money in the ATM, but they don't know how much.

Detectives are working with a Kansas City company to see if they can examine surveillance footage from the facility.

If you saw anything, call the TIPS hotline at 816-238-TIPS with information.
