Back-to-School Shoppers to Get Tax Break This Weekend

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) You might want to plan on doing your back-to-school shopping this weekend.

Missouri's annual Sales Tax Holiday kicks off Friday.

You can buy school supplies, clothes and even computers tax free.

To be eligible, any clothing article must be $100 or less. School supplies cannot exceed $50 per purchase. Computers purchases are limited to $3,500 and computer software cannot exceed $350.

Not all cities in the state are taking part in the tax break.

The tax free holiday runs from Aug. 1-3.
