(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) This month brings an increased focus on distracted drivers.

The Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety is working with law enforcement agencies in the state to crack down on distracted drivers and those not wearing a seat belt.

The added enforcement coincides with National Distracted Driving month.

The campaign reminds drivers that various distractions can lead to traffic accidents, pointing out text messaging behind the wheel as the most deadly distraction.
