(MARYVILLE, Mo.) City Council members in Maryville have once again reached an agreement on the bar age limit.

They voted Monday to allow those 19 and 20 years old to enter bars.

The decision comes after a back and forth on the issue, including a vote in January that raised the bar entry age in Maryville from 19 to 21 years old.

The council voted 3-0 to repeal the ordinance passed in January. The January vote followed a vote last June to keep 19 as the standard bar entry age.

The council has seen a shake up since then with a new mayor and council members.

Also Monday, the council rejected other alcohol-related ordinances proposed by the old council connected to underage drinking.
