Dr. Fred Czerwonka will receive a contract extension through the 2016-17 school year.
The contract approved by the board includes a two percent increase from his $190,000 base salary, which matches the two percent raise teachers will receive next year.
The decision was made during an April 10 closed, executive session among board members but not released to the public after the vote.
The school district has been embroiled in a stipend controversy for chief administrators that has led to a state audit.
The FBI is also investigating.
