Early Morning Rollover Accident Injures 4

(BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo.) An animal in the road caused a rollover accident near Gower Thursday morning that injured four people.

The Buchanan County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident at 169 Highway and Holmes Road around 4 a.m.

They said two adults and two juveniles were in the SUV when the driver swerved to miss an animal. The SUV rolled multiple times, ejecting two passengers.

The two inside the vehicle had more significant injuries than those ejected. The juveniles were taken to Children's Mercy for an evaluation. The adults were taken to Heartland.
