Fallen NWMO Firefighter to be Remembered

(CHILLICOTHE, Mo.)    A fallen northwest Missouri firefighter will be remembered during a memorial service this weekend.

Chillicothe Assistant Fire Chief Joe Darr will be honored at a ceremony in Kingdom City, Missouri.

A candlelight vigil will be held Saturday to honor Darr and two other Missouri firefighters who died in the line of duty.
Darr's name will also be added to the Firefighters Line of Duty Memorial Wall.

Darr died of a medical emergency while on duty last September.

The 62-year-old was a 34-year veteran of the Chillicothe Fire Department.
