Families flocked to Krug Park Tuesday to enjoy nice temperatures.
Today was the warmest day of the winter season with temperatures in the lower 60's.
After several rounds of snow that fell below freezing, people were ready to enjoy the weather.
"I did 4 pieces and now it's all gone but some ducks are mad because I have bread. The ducks are white and some of them are geese," said Sayla Strueby, a young toddler visiting the park with her family.
Fred Jones, a St. Joseph native, brings his dogs to the park on a regular basis.
Jones says he was scheduled to work today but says he's thankful he got to be outdoors.
"This way I get my puppy's out to see the sights and meet everybody and just have a good time," said Jones
But for many others it was just a day to come out and play.
These young kids couldn't wait hit the playground.
Business was also booming across town at East Ridge Car Wash on the Belt Highway.
They say because of the warm temperatures, they've been busy all day cleaning nearly a thousand cars.
"When it snows then they put all that salt down and we get very busy," said Scott Kunkel, manager at East Ridge Car Wash.
This warm-up may be short lived with rain and even snow by this weekend.
So far, St. Joseph has seen nearly 30 inches of snow.
