ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Firefighters responded to a house fire in a St. Joseph neighborhood Thursday morning.

The fire broke out around 10:45 in the attic of a home in the 2200 block of Lover's Lane.

Six fire trucks responded to the fire.

The St. Joseph Police Department also arrived on scene for traffic control.
