(CNN/KQTV) Some positive news for the housing market.

A RealtyTrac survey found foreclosure filings were down 26 percent from 2012.

According to the online marketplace, foreclosure filings hit their lowest level since 2007.

Florida had the most foreclosures last year at 270,000.

Despite the good news, RealtyTrac reports that more than 9 million properties are in trouble, with borrowers owing at least 25 percent more on their mortgages than the homes are worth.

RealtyTrac lists 16 foreclosures in Buchanan County and more than 6,700 statewide. Missouri is below the national average for foreclosures.
