(ST. JOSEPH, Mo) A federal grand jury has asked the St. Joseph School District to hand over documents as part of an FBI investigation of the district.

A subpoena was hand delivered to the district Friday by an FBI official.

It asks for meeting minutes, notices, policies and personnel records along with other district documents.

The district says it will comply with the request.

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Missouri would not comment about the subpoena.

"Under federal law, we're prohibited from commenting on confirming or disclosing any information about grand jury proceedings. That includes subpoenas," said Public Affairs Officer Don Ledford.
