(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Job seekers had the chance to present their case for employment this afternoon at Civic Arena.

The Employment Coalition and city of St. Joseph hosted the Tenth Annual City Wide Career Fair.

Eighty employers and hundreds of job seekers interacted on the arena's main floor.

A separate area was set up with colleges that provided enrollment information.

The career fair's chair Nshan Erganian says the event gives people good one-on-one interaction with employers.

"Here at the career fair you can talk to 80 different employers and I'm talking about real people, about real job openings, and talking about real opportunities in our community," said Erganian.

Erganian expected around 1,500 people to attend today's fair.

Social service workers were there to meet with people as well.
