(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) For those that wanted to get outside and have some fun with their dads Sunday afternoon, the carnival was a fun option.

Sunday was the last day for the Evans United Shows Carnival.

The carnival set up near the river and had a Ferris wheel and various activities for families.

Concession manager Thomas Wells said they have attracted about 5,000 people over the past few days.

The carnival has been in St. Joseph since 1947.

They will be headed to Iowa next and will travel throughout the summer and fall.
