Lathrop Man Charged after Authorities Uncover Meth Lab

(LATHROP, Mo.) A northwest Missouri man faces charges after a search warrant led authorities to a suspected meth lab in Lathrop.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Department worked with multiple area drug agencies during the investigation that led them to the home in the 100 block of Concha Street.

Officers served a search warrant at the home on Feb. 20. They seized methamphetamines, more than 600 pills, including pseudoephedrine, along with a portable scale and other drug paraphernalia.

Ronald Roberts was arrested and charged with attempt to manufacture a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia to manufacture methamphetamine.

According to the prosecutor's office, Roberts faces up to life in prison if convicted on all of the charges.
