At least three fire crews are battling a house fire near the Faucett exit of Interstate 29.

They received the call around 4:00 a.m. on Monday morning about a home on the 4900 block of Southwest DD Highway that was fully engulfed in flames.

Family members tell KQ2 that seven people lived inside, but that no one was injured.

Only local traffic is being allowed through that portion of Highway DD while crews battle the fire.

Firefighters have been unable to confirm an exact cause, but family members say they believe it began in the fireplace.

KQ2 will have the latest developments on the story as they become available.
